Christian Clerc

Consultant & Designer

Christian joined McMahon Group in 2015 and is assisting communities with strategic and facility planning. He provides insight and direction for leaders building consensus within their communities. He works closely with a team of great mentors and great clients to revitalize and improve physical environments. In addition to planning with the McMahon Group, his past work experience includes manufacturing, property rehabilitation, and construction of facilities and infrastructure in both the public and private sectors. He is currently a LEED AP, BD+C.

He graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Masters of Architecture and Masters of Urban Design. During his graduate studies he served as treasurer for the Graduate Architecture Council, traveled cities worldwide studying urban environments and community development strategies, and was responsible for developing GIS maps for an international conference focusing on St. Louis watersheds. He completed his B.S. in physics from the University of Dallas, where he was social chair and treasurer of the UD Rugby Football Club.

Christian enjoys following technology transfer across industries. An abiding delight in the complexity of creation, both physical and social, is inspiration to his strategic and design insights. He has transformed the McMahon survey results into a templated data depository that enables market research of emerging social trends and amenities. He is also spearheading the development of the McMahon intelligent listening service, a language processing tool to be used by McMahon clients to augment our survey process in identifying critical action items for community leadership.

Christian enjoys hiking and canoeing rivers in Missouri’s countryside. He is currently serving on Pastoral Council at St. Stephen Protomartyr. He participates in Contemplative Leaders in Action (CLA), which is a Jesuit leadership group that integrates prayerful discernment in directing professional and community service actions. The majority of his extracurricular time is spent with his wife and their three young, rambunctious daughters.
